Primary Use / Function: Immune support, wound healing, skin health, DNA synthesis, antioxidant defense

Daily Dose Range: 8–11 mg for adults (up to 40 mg/day upper limit)
Frequency: Once daily (may be divided if high dose)
With Food? Yes (preferably with food to reduce nausea)
Enhancing Combinations:Vitamin C (for immune function), Quercetin (zinc ionophore), Magnesium (cell function), Copper (if supplementing zinc long-term)
Gender Specific:No, but males may need slightly more zinc
Contraindications / Cautions: High doses can cause nausea, interfere with copper absorption, suppress immunity if overdosed
Notes: Important during cold/flu season; long-term use should be balanced with copper
